Transfer Instructions:
- Prepare artwork and size transfer according to the size and shape of the product.
- Image must be produced in reverse or “mirror image”
- Print transfer, do not tape to mug due to special coating for colour change, Wrap the bank with pellon or plain white paper.
- Place the mug in the press
- GeoKnight and other mug presses without an Idle: 400F / Time: 240-300 seconds
- 4in1 mug presses with Idle: Idle 212F Processing 360F / Time: 100-180 seconds
- Pressure: light – medium
- Remove the mug from the press and remove the transfer immediately. Place the mug in room temperature water to cool and to stop the sublimation process.
Note:
The key to achieving success with Morph Mugs is pressure. Too much pressure alters the morph effect; not enough may produce a washed-out transfer. The image for any of the mugs needs to be about .25” from the top and bottom of the mug and 1.25” from the handle. You always will be able to see the image dimly on the darkened morph mug. It will reveal the image brightly as the mug is filled with hot liquid and turns white.
Note: These instructions are guidelines only and are based on the inks, paper, and products we supply. Your inks, papers, etc., may require adjustments in your time/temp settings. If you find a different setting, it is ideal to email us with the method of application and temp/time settings you used; that would be great.
