Cricut® Transfer tape was specifically designed to make transferring vinyl cuts to different surfaces a cinch. Now new and improved, our tape holds better during material transfer and offers a clean release once you have fixed your material in place. Each roll comes with one 12" x 48" tape sheet.

The clear transfer material helps you to easily see when placing perfectly spaced and arranged vinyl cuts to their surface. The light printed grid will assist in aligning your project precisely. Step-By-Step Instructions

• Prep the vinyl cuts by removing the negative pieces from each of the images using the weeding tool found in the Cricut® Tool Kit. This process is also known as weeding.
• Remove the liner from the transfer tape. Take the transfer tape in each hand with the adhesive side facing down.
• Gently place the transfer tape over the images. Start in the center and move out toward the edges. A craft stick or the scraper found in the Cricut® Tool Kit can be used to burnish* the tape onto the vinyl.
• Peel the vinyl away from the liner at a 45-degree angle. If the vinyl sticks to the liner, simply burnish the transfer tape onto the vinyl again. Peel the vinyl away from the liner.

Application

• Carefully place the transfer tape with vinyl images on a clean and dry surface, making sure the images are straight.
• Press the vinyl onto the surface, starting in the center and moving out toward the ends. A craft stick can be used to burnish the vinyl onto the surface.
• Peel the transfer tape away from the vinyl at a 45-degree angle. If the vinyl sticks to the transfer tape, simply burnish the vinyl onto the surface again. Peel the transfer tape away from the vinyl.

*Burnishing is a rubbing or polishing action that uses a craft stick or squeegee.
Tips and Tricks

• Transfer Tape
• Cut a piece of transfer tape the same size as your cut image.
• Apply pressure over the image using a scraper or credit card. If the image isn't coming up with the transfer tape, re-lay it down, apply more pressure, and try again.
• Press vinyl image onto a clean surface, working from the center outward, smoothing out, and applying pressure as you go.
