Introducing HTV Anything, a specialty decal material that lets you turn regular Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) into dishwasher safe sticker decals. Pretty cool, right? 

This unique material has a special adhesive backing that can be applied to any flat smooth surface you like such as tumblers, cups and cars. One of the most popular usages for this product is on personalized and bedazzled drink tumblers.

Please note, HTV is not rated for extended outdoor use, so HTV decals will fade in the sun over time.

What you will need:

• HTV Anything Decal Material
• Glitter Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV)
• Teflon Paper
• Heat Press, Cricut EasyPress or iron
• Cutting machine such as a Cricut, Silhouette or a good pair of scissors 

How to Create a Decal:

1. Cut and weed your HTV Anything and Glitter (HTV) Materials (recommended machine cut settings and information are listed below). Note: If you are using a cutting machine, place the HTV Anything on your mat shiny side up. DO NOT mirror your design.  The adhesive is on the side next to the backing sheet, think as if you are cutting regular Adhesive Vinyl.
2. Start with a sheet of Teflon paper as your base layer.
3. Set the HTV Anything, shiny side up on top of the Teflon paper.
4. Align your Glitter HTV on top of the HTV Anything.
5. Cover the design with another sheet of Teflon paper & press it (recommended heat press settings are listed below). 
6. Remove the top Teflon sheet and Glitter HTV carrier.
7. If you are creating a multi-layer design then you will need to repeat steps 4-6 for each layer, working from the bottom to top. 
8. After you have pressed all layers, trim the HTV Anything as close as possible to the design without cutting into into the Glitter HTV.
9. Your decal is now complete.
10. Once you are ready to apply the decal, remove the HTV Anything back carrier sheet which will expose your decals adhesive backing.
11. Apply your decal to a clean, flat smooth surface. 

Cutting Machine Settings

• Silhouette Cameo 3, 4 & 4 Pro: Depth 6, Force 28, Speed 10, Passes 2
• Cricut Maker: 272
• Cricut Explore: Light Cardstock

Heat Press Settings

• Temperature: 300°F
• Time: Single Colour/Layer: Press for 6-8 seconds.
• Time: Multi-Colour/Layered Design: Initial layers/colours should be pressed for 2-3 seconds each.  Press the final/top layer for 6 to 8 seconds.
• Pressure: Light - Medium
• Peel: Cool

Tips & Tricks:

• Trim the your HTV carrier sheet close to the design to avoid it touching the edges of the HTV Anything.  The Glitter HTV carrier should be smaller so that it does not pull up the edges of the HTV Anything when removed. 
• Standard Glitter HTV layering rules do not apply when using HTV Anything.  You can layer Glitter HTV or Rhinestones on top of Glitter HTV. 
• Rhinestones cannot be applied directly to HTV Anything. A different material would be required that we currently don't stock.
• Always clean the surface with alcohol before applying the decal. 
• While your decal may be dishwasher safe, always check to ensure the product you are applying it to is dishwasher safe as well.
• HTV Anything works best with thicker HTV such as Glitter or Siser Brick. Solid colours, patterns and holographic vinyl may bubble or ripple since they are thinner.
