StyleTech Colour Changing Adhesive Vinyl is the FIRST EVER temperature change craft vinyl that changes colour based on temperature.
We have 4 colours to choose from:
When exposed to cold temperatures
- Cold Blue (clear to blue)
- Cold Pink
- Cold Pink Purple (pink to purple)
Hot temperature colour change vinyl:
- Red Hot Yellow (red to yellow)
All return to their original colours when back to room temperature.
This vinyl has so many extraordinary selection options for your projects. It would look great on your glass cup, mug, or pitcher projects.
Cold Blue - Color Changing Vinyl
All of our Styletech craft colour change vinyl comes with an adhesive on one side with a paper backing that protects the adhesive until exposed. Styletech colour changing vinyl responds to the environment by changing colour depending on the temperature. This type of vinyl is best suited for windows and glass graphics like drinkware cups and pitchers. They are not dishwasher safe and are not meant for outdoor use.
Cold Blue is a temperature-sensitive vinyl that, when chilled below 59°F (15°C), changes to a vibrant blue. When returned to a warmer temperature, the vinyl changes back to its frosted translucent colour. In comparison, the Red Hot Yellow is red at room temperature and turns yellow when heated above roughly 80°F, cool it off and it returns to its original red colour. Not both the red hot yellow and Cold Blue has a permanent adhesive, but it is not recommended for outdoor applications due to UV fading.

Due to the strong, permanent adhesive and gloss finish of the Cold Blue, it is highly recommended to burnish the transfer tape thoroughly and peel the release liner away from the transfer tape instead of lifting the transfer tape/vinyl up. Keep in mind that minor variations in machines and batches of vinyl may cause you to need to tweak your settings a bit. It's always best to check the chart under your machine for the type of vinyl you are cutting then refer to the settings next to it.
